WHAT IS OUR MISSION?
The mission of LEAP is to increase students’ ISAT scores, help them achieve academic performance at grade level, to reach Annual Yearly Performance (AYP), and impact children’s and their families’ lives.

| WHAT IS LEAP? |
| LEAP (Learning Enrichment Action Program) is an exciting tutoring experience. A part of the Federal Legislation No Child Left Behind (NCLB), 21st Century Community Learning Centers (CCLC), LEAP, provides enrichment opportunities for students and their families during non-school hours through partnerships. LEAP is a partnership between Firman Community Services and Chicago Public Schools, Betsy Ross Elementary School and Francis Parkman Elementary School. |

| WHEN IS LEAP PROGRAM? |
| Activities are offered from 2 pm—6:00 pm, Monday– Fridays at each school. Special events will also be conducted bi-monthly, to involve students and parents; Firman Community Services provides transportation as needed for these special events. |

| LEAP ACTIVITIES |
|
| LEAP activities are unique, as they are designed to fit students’ and parents’ needs. They include the following: |
| • Tutoring (for students) |
• Educational/Social
Enrichment Activities(for students and/or Parents) |

| TUTORING |
| After school tutoring will supplement classroom instruction by providing students with academic and enrichment activities to increase ISAT scores in the following core subjects; Reading, Math, Science, and Writing, helping them achieve academic performance at grade level, to reach AYP. |

| ENROLLMENT |
| All LEAP participants must complete and submit a LEAP Enrollment Form and a LEAP Parental Consent & Release Form. Enrollment forms are available at the Main Offices and the LEAP Tutoring Rooms at Betsy Ross Elementary School and Francis Parkman Elementary School |
|
| COST |
| Enrollment is FREE for Betsy Ross Elementary School and Francis Parkman Elementary School students and their families. |
