Firman Community Services is a not-for-profit social service agency founded in 1872. Firman's mission is to provide the maintenance of a neighborhood-based human service agency, which seeks to improve the social, moral, educational and economic quality of life for residents of the communities we serve. Firman's core communities served are Bronzeville, the Legends South Homes and State Way Gardens. Firman also services Fuller Park, New City, Grand Boulevard, Englewood, and other south side neighborhoods. The Administrative Offices are located just east of the Dan Ryan expressway (I-94) at 47th Street. The Firman Community Services workforce consists of approximately 100 full-time positions. |
